Our Eagle Scouts
Less than 6% of all Scouts earn the Eagle rank. These 33 individuals demonstrated extraordinary dedication, leadership, and service to earn Scouting's highest honor.
The Eagle Scout Rank
Scouting's highest achievement since 1912
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program. To earn it, a Scout must complete at least 21 merit badges (including 13 Eagle-required), serve in leadership positions, perform community service, and plan and lead an Eagle Scout service project that benefits their community.
Notable Eagle Scouts include Neil Armstrong, Gerald Ford, Rex Tillerson, Steven Spielberg, and Mike Rowe. The rank is recognized by colleges, employers, and military branches as a mark of exceptional character and leadership.
